Cancellation Policy and Procedures
With regard to fees collected for services for Collateral Appraisal Management, LLC, with respect to appraisal services provided. The following fees are considered standard cancellation charges for the appraisal services for fees that were received and subsequently cancelled by any party involved in the transaction, including but not limited to, the client, the borrower, the lender and/or Collateral Appraisal Management, LLC. Refund issued for fees retained from charges received for appraisals services are as follows:- File cancelled within 3 hours of receipt of order/payment = Full Refund will be issued.
- File cancelled after order but before inspection of property = $150 fee retained, excess of payment will be refunded.
- File cancelled after inspection but before appraisal is written by service provider = $300 fee retained, excess of payment will be refunded.
- File cancelled after appraisal is completed = no refund given.
- In the event fees are collected for additional services or changes in assignments including but not limited to additional forms, fees for complex assignments, updates to appraisal, etc. no refund will be issued for these services.
All fees will be refunded to the original credit card utilized in the purchase transaction for services, unless all parties involved agree to other arrangements.
